Dr. D. Jonathan Bernardini MD
Dr. Bernardini is a Harvard-trained, triple board-certified physician with more than 13 years of experience in advanced, minimally invasive surgical procedures. He brings a unique blend of military, academic, and private practice expertise to his role as a physician executive at US Pain Relief, PLLC.
A graduate of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (1999), Dr. Bernardini completed general surgery training at the University of California Davis Medical Center and David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center. He went on to serve as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force, with assignments in Korea, Italy, and multiple global deployments. Following his military service, he pursued residency training in anesthesiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School and later completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
In Denver, Colorado, Dr. Bernardini co-founded a thriving interventional sports, spine, and pain management practice, where he specialized in minimally invasive techniques to treat chronic pain. Building on this foundation, he expanded into aesthetics and wellness, developing a practice centered on safe, evidence-based cosmetic and medical aesthetic procedures.
Today, Dr. Bernardini brings his extensive clinical and leadership experience to western Michigan, where he plays a key role in advancing patient care and organizational growth at US Pain Relief.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, refereeing friendly battles between his two children, assisting his wife with ongoing home renovation projects, and caring for their three dogs—Bronco, Chewy, and Piper.

Vincent Montenegro is the Chief Financial Officer of US Pain Relief PLLC, a leading provider of innovative pain management solutions dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients nationwide. With over 25 years of experience in financial leadership within the healthcare and medical sectors, Vincent brings deep expertise in financial strategy, operational efficiency, and driving sustainable growth in complex, highly regulated industries.
At US Pain Relief PLLC, Vincent oversees all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, capital strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He has been instrumental in optimizing the company’s financial infrastructure, securing growth capital, and aligning financial strategies with the company’s mission to provide compassionate, cutting-edge pain relief solutions.
Before joining US Pain Relief PLLC, Vincent held senior finance leadership roles at Eastern Med Solutions, where he led initiatives in cost management, revenue cycle optimization, and long-term financial planning.
